Keys to the Game:
- Poor Passers: I had completely forgotten how poor of a passing team that OSU was (just a little over 10 assists a game), especially considering they have the great Byron Eaton leading the team (I hope all of you realize that I'm being sarcastic as I want nothing more than to watch Eaton fail on the court). What does this tell me, that this team doesn't run and they don't pass once they get the ball (I wonder if this is part of their problem?). Limit each possession to one shot and I don't think that the Cowboys will have much left.
- Rebounding, Again and Again: This is one team that's almost as poor of a rebounding as Texas Tech. For once, the Red Raiders have a opportunity to at the very least get an advantage on the boards. As mentioned above, everyone needs to block out and limit the Cowboys to just one shot. I pray for all that is good and clean that Knight doesn't start a 4 guard offense against OSU and that Singletary, Roberts and Cook all get some decent minutes this afternoon.
- Roberson to Dominate: I don't know if this is so much a key to the game, but I would love, love, love to see Roberson just dominate Eaton. I'm not real sure why, but Eaton is one of my least favorite players in the conference and I would like nothing more than to see Roberson put on a clinic tomorrow afternoon. I would hope that Roberson does this as a personal favor, for me and the loyal readers of DTN.
