The Ted Hendricks Foundation made several adjustments to its Mid-Season Watch List, including the addition of Texas Tech junior defensive end Brandon Williams (Fort Worth, Texas). Williams is one of 33 players listed and one of six representing the Big 12 Conference. The Hendricks Award has been presented annually since 2002 and is awarded to the nation's top defensive end. Previous winners of the Hendricks Award include Terrell Suggs (Arizona State, 2002), David Pollack (Georgia, 2003-04), Elvis Dumervil (Louisville, 2005), LaMarr Woodley (Michigan, 2006) and Chris Long (Virginia, 2007).
