— Yesterday was a big day. Of course, I got in 6.5 hours of CLE, but that wasn't the best part of my day. My wife texted me before getting into my CLE that we have moved up to #11 for boys and #18 for girls in our Ethiopian adoption. We were #22 for boys just a couple of weeks ago, so we're moving up fast. And to answer your questions, there are more people that want girls, whereas my wife and I don't care if it's a boy or a girl (not that there's anything wrong with wanting a girl). Then, at 1:57 p.m. my brother-in-law (Red Raider) and his wife (Aggie) welcomed a new baby girl into the world, Emery. Finally, I got an email from a friend who has a ticket to game #3 of tonight's World Series with my name on it.
Since most likely I'll miss the tail end of the game, I've got open threads scheduled for 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and consider this your morning open thread.
