A chance to bring some championship to Lubbock this year. Voting ends tomorrow morning.
I'm not going to give a description, I just found this interesting. Please keep the comments nice.
At least the Buffalo Bills are looking at Cody with some respect...
Big XII v ACC matchup.
Bryce Lamb won a national title, too, in the triple jump, with a leap of 16.96 m, 55-07.75 ft. Kole Weldon got 8 points in the shot put by finishing in 2nd place Friday with a toss of 20.02 m 65-08.25 ft. So, Lamb and Kithuka had 20 of Tech’s 28, 5th place overall points total. On Saturday, also, Kithuka was not in the points in the 3000 as he seemed to just run out of gas, running to a 9th place finish at 7:56.28 sec, 10.5 seconds behind the winner. Grimes wound up in 6th in the 60 yd dash with a time of 8.196 sec to get 3 points. The women’s 4X400 (1) Amoy Blake JR, 2) Cierra White SO, 3) Christen Rivers SO, 4) Candace Jackson SR) got 2 points and ran a time of 3:34.23 sec to finish in 7th place. This is the best finish ever in nationals by a Tech track team and congrats too our two National Champions, Kithuka and Lamb.
The Texas Tech track team is in second place with 18 points, behind leader Arkansas, with 30 points, after D day 1 of the NCAA Indoor Championships. There is no listing of winners, but I would imagine Kennedy Kithuka has something to do with that point total being that high.
I feel like I'm reading Chris Chris.
This is a bummer
