The Red Raiders are coming off of an upset of #14 Iowa St and look to keep the momentum going. Baylor is looking to stay in the Big 12 regular season race and will host Texas Tech in Waco. The last time these two teams met up the Baylor Bears knocked down a game winning 3 as time expired. Who wins this time?

Rebounds/Game | 10.3 | F Rico Gathers |

Free Throw % | 77/91, 84.6% | F Taurean Prince |
Taurean Prince and Rico Gathers lead Baylor in scoring and rebound. It's pretty easy to see that Baylor likes to feed their big men so Aaron Ross and Matthew Temple will have their hands full. Prince has taken 101 3-points shots and Al Freeman has taken 100, so the Bears aren't afraid to pull up from deep. The Red Raiders will have to slow down Prince and/or Gathers to pull out the win. Example, last game Georges Niang had Deonte Burton both had 4 fouls last game.

As I mentioned before, Baylor pulled out the 63-60 win on a last second 3-point shot when they last played Texas Tech. Since the last meeting, Baylor hasn't really pulled of any major wins. The Bears beat Iowa St but the Red Raiders did that too. It'll be interesting to see what sort of intensity Texas Tech plays with coming off of its overtime upset.
Prediction
Texas Tech 69 - Baylor 68
It seems like Baylor has just been going through the motions the past few games and Texas Tech is coming off of its first win against a ranked opponent. Momentum wise, the Red Raiders have the edge and will be looking to avenge a home loss to the Bears. But for Texas Tech to win, they'll have to slow down Baylor's big men.
