A Red Raider Leaving Lubbock

Back in January of 2010 I left the green, semi hilly, and tree filled pastureland of North Central Texas to follow my girlfriend to attend Texas Tech in the flat, dusty plains of West Texas. Four years later we've both graduated, are engaged, and about two weeks away from packing up and moving to Abilene for her graduate school.

I find myself terrified to leave this place where I've spent the best few years of life despite my entire school tenure at Tech being under the entire Tuberville regime. But those scars have been healed and I've devoted my remaining free time here to cross things off of my Lubbock bucket list such as eating at One Guy's, walking from Holden Hall to the SUB one last time, and catching every evening newscast on KAMC to see the greatness that is meteorologist Ron Roberts.

With that said, has anyone else felt such sorrow and despair moving away from the Hub City and the greatest university on planet earth?
