Finally the college football season is about to start and it couldn't come any sooner. Fall is definently my favorite time of year with football (college and professional), the cooler weather, and thanksgiving (plus the weeks heading up to christmas). Also excited about fall because I will start my first semester at Tech. It's going to hard, but I'm up to the challege and elated for the opportunity. Anyway, here is an update on some recruits Texas Tech has gone after the past week. Also some new information on recruits
Vincent Dunning - RB (Whitehouse HS, Whitehouse, TX)
Yes I know, we don't need another Running back. We will have Kenny Williams, DeAndre Washington, Quinton White, Tyler Middleton and Justin Stockston. But the kid is big, fast, and actually not terrible. The main reason why I may want to kid is to lure is younger, talented brother, Justin Dunning. He is a big, fast safety that is currently right now leaning towards the crap holes known as UT and A&M, but if we get Vincent, maybe Justin will tag along. Now if there is a better player we could get that spot, by all means take him, but if there's room left, there's no harm is grabbing this kid.
Dylan Harding - Safety (Jenks HS, Jenks, OK)
Everybody is asking about a tall DB after picking up Derrick Dixon and Joesph Clark. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Dylan Harding. He's big., has a knack for the ball, and is also quick. His offers consist of UNC, Tulsa, and more. He has good form tackling and can hide in coverages, making him an effective safety. I don't know when he is planning to commit, but my guess is it's probably down the road. Another reason to grab him could be his talented, 2015 teammate in DT Marquise Overton. He is highly rated, and we are in great position for him. OU has gone hard at him so far, but we are in a good position at this point in time. Keep an eye on this kid.
WIll Coleman is looking to commit soon. After visiting the Texas Tech campus last weekend, along with Joesph Clark and Anthony Olobia, he might become a Red Raider any day now.
