Well, they're finally asking the question over at BON and while I'll admit that this read a little like a question that the rest of us long ago decided to answer, the navel gazing over there is a pretty fascinating study in sociology. And here's the interesting rub, the way I see it: if the Big 12 had, instead, a fully legitimate conference network, I'd argue that not only would the content be stronger, but that even UT would likely benefit more from its existence.
Not that that would ever happen when egos and the giant wallet that is ESPN are involved, but still. I understand second and third tier rights and the realities of the way that things are today for schools in the Big 12, ours and otherwise. But I'd wager that UT fans, if they're being honest with themselves, have to consider the programming on that channel tepid at best. What's your take?
