Texas Tech + Whitehouse = Success

I don't do much at all at school, seeing it's my senior year of high school and I've already been accepted and awarded a scholarship to Tech, so I have a lot of free time. I mean a lot. Like 7 hrs of free time (since all my friends don't have classes with me this year). So I've decided to take my masterpiece called my brain to analysis and look up recent and future Texas Tech recruits.

One thing I have noticed about all these recruits is one school keeps on popping up, giving us recent recruits, future ones and maybe even others from other high schools. I'm talking about Whitehouse High School. Tech has recently picked up some recruits from there and looking at more from the high school, along with those recruits helping us pick up even more recruits. Lets look at the recent pick-ups and moves made from Texas Tech and Whitehouse.

  • 1/29/12 - Dylan Cantrell attends Texas Tech's junior day
  • 3/22/12 - Dylan Cantrell commits to Texas Tech (under the coach that shall not be named)
  • 12/12/12 - Kingsbury gets hired as Tech Head Coach (All 12's, as in the number of wins we'll get to soon....)
  • 1/11/13 - "The King" offers Patrick Mahomes, who attends Tech Junior Day on 2/9/13
  • 4/20/13 - On national "you know what" day, Patrick Mahomes attends the Spring Game and then commits.

So far we only have two recruits from them, but there will be more to come. As some of you know, Patrick Mohomes is constantly tweeting 4-star WR KD Cannon (it's what all the young kids are doing these days) and urging 2015 4-star S Justin Dunning to come to Texas Tech. Another name that hasn't popped up as much is Reggie Long, a 3-star ILB from Whitehouse who will be attending Texas Tech's camp on 6/12/13.

With the "bros" constantly recruiting East Texas, and Mahomes convincing fellow players from the area to go to Tech, we are sure to get an upgrade thanks to this one high school. Wreck'em right?
