Monday Morning Links at Viva The Matadors | 2013-04-15

Morning links: odds and ends, golf, softball, soccer, tennis, baseball, and men's tennis.

ODDS AND ENDS | I missed this last week, but wanted to point you towards the new campus photos from Totally Texas Tech. Really terrific.

GOLF | Congrats to Finley Ewing IV for finishing 2nd in the Morris Williams Invitational!

SOFTBALL | The softball team is in a pretty bad way right now, getting swept for the second weekend in a row. It was to #1 Oklahoma, but this team needs a few wins. The LAJ and DT recap yesterday's loss.

SOCCER | The soccer team had a 2-0 shutout of Lamar yesterday and are 3-0 in their recent trip to Houston.

TENNIS | Rolling. The women are just rolling, winning their 8th straight match beating Kansas 6-1. The men, unfortunately, lost to Oklahoma 5-2 yesterday, on senior day.

BASEBALL | Seriously. The baseball team lost to Lubbock Christian, 6-5. The teams were tied going into the 9th inning and Jered McCrummen gave up the winning run. The LAJ and DT recaps the game and the DT has another article on Trey Masek, who was able to start, but limited to 50 pitches.

MEN'S BASKETBALL | Rush The Court has a good summary of the men's team last year and given the circumstances, I thought the grade from RTC was totally appropriate.
