Saturday Morning Links at Viva The Matadors | 2013-03-30

Morning links: odds and ends, softball, tennis, golf, track and field and baseball links.

ODDS AND ENDS | I thought this was kinda funny and it doesn't hurt to lighten the mood, the world's last Creed fan (video).

SOFTBALL | Game 1 went to Texas Tech 10-0, but game 2 was suspended due to rain in the 8th inning with a 1-1 tie.

TENNIS | I think this is for the weekend as the men's team travels to the fine city of Louisville to take on Louisville.

GOLF | Onion Creek! That's right, the women's golf team travels to Austin for a tournament at Onion Creek.

TRACK AND FIELD | Lots of track and field things that I don't really have time to detail, but here are your links from the past few days:

* Tech Opens Competition at 86th Annual Texas Relays - Texas Tech Red Raiders Official Athletic Site
* Carson, Grimes Highlight Friday at Texas Relays - Texas Tech Red Raiders Official Athletic Site

BASEBALL | To go back just a bit, the baseball team had a heck of a day leading up to their game against New Mexico St. Back to the weekend action, the baseball team lost last night 4-1 to TCU. The VTM post is updated. Texas Tech's top two starting pitchers most likely won't be pitching this series, unless of course Dominic Moreno's rib goes back in place. The LAJ and DT recap the game.
