Ok, this is getting out of control. From my understanding, the kid wants to play for Tech but his mother wants him to go to Tulane. So the mother won't sign his letter of intent. I don't know if it is because the mother doesn't want him to be so far away from her or if there are other reasons why she won't get on board. Whatever the reason, I hope this kid is able to make his way to Lubbock. I think he would be a serious contributor in the years to come and lord knows we can use some help on the defensive side.

Maybe we should send his mother a letter stating: "we understand your concern and let us assure you that your son will one, earn a great education, two, play in the Big 12 against some of the best athletes and teams in the nation (sorry Tulane), and 3, it's a scholarship!!!!

It's time to cut the umbilical chord and let your son grow into a man.
