Okay let's face it guys. We need a QB who fits the last piece to our offense. I've found that guy. This guy plays for Tech. Granted, he's only taken 2 snaps his whole life. This guy is Kenny Williams. He's 1 of 2, 3 yards, and a Touchdown. He has a better rating than Baker Mayfield and Davis Webb. Also, we recruited this guy as a RB. But heck, who cares? Mack Brown wanted Johnny Manziel as a safety. If Mack Brown could recruit one of the best QBs in college football right now as a safety, than surely we can change Kenny Williams into the starting QB.
So, first, we must see why Kenny Williams is such a good QB. The play lines up with Ward on the top of the screen, and our secret weapon QB Kenny Williams behind the other QB. Williams will run around the left.
Running around the left will draw the the two defenders that were closest to Eric Ward up towards Kenny Williams. Williams recognizes that they are going to be tempted to come in so he keeps running. (Already has a great mind to be a QB, to bring up the defenders to have a wide open receiver in the endzone)
Finally, the defenders start to come up. Williams notices this. He thinks "It's now or never." He jumps up in the air Tim Tebow style, throws the ball, and then gets hit by a defender. Now, we think "that was a terrible throw, he threw it too high and too far into the back of the endzone". This is not the case. It was a brilliant throw. He looked at how big the defensive back was, saw how high the Dback could jump, and then threw a perfect, not beautiful, but perfect pass over the Dback and right into the hands of Ward, as these next pictures will show.
Now, we see that Ward and Williams already have excellent chemistry, as Ward already knew where the throw was going to be, and was already running the direction, to make the tip-toe catch in the back end of the endzone.
Now Webb (after seeing his hail mary throw) would of probably thrown that ball about ten yards out of the end of the end zone.
Now I have the perfect solution. Webb needs glasses, and then he will turn into the best "hammer slinger" out there. Now that's not a gun slinger, but it's close enough.
But, come to think of it, that prescription would probably be too strong for Webb, resulting in a throw right to the Dback, which would result in an interception.
So, our new/next secret weapon, duel-threat, smart, awesome QB should be Kenny Williams.
