- Photos | It's been a while since I linked to Totally Texas Tech as TTURed (I don't know why not) has some new campus photos.
- Soccer | The soccer team jumped to #12 in the NSCAA rankings and Victoria Esson and Janine Beckie were the offensive and defensive players of the week for the Big 12. The last game is against Texas on Friday night and then the Big 12 tournament.
- Volleyball | The volleyball team will be in action on Wednesday night at 8:00 pm against a very good Iowa St. team.

Football
- The defense is trying to get back on track and we have articles from the LAJ and the DT about that, especially with an Oklahoma St. team that can run the ball. Here's Co-DC Matt Wallerstedt:
"One of the things that showed up (last) week was tackling," he said. "A little bit more with the missed tackles, pursuit angles, things that we really have been clean on. I think they had 220 yards after contact. So when we had guys in position to make hits, they were bouncing off tackles, not finishing on tackles and they were going for extra yards."
And DT Kerry Hyder knows that the defense has some work to do:"Give OU credit," Hyder said. "They did come out in the second half and were able to run the ball on us pretty well. Also, we kind of shot ourselves in the foot a couple of times. We’re going to credit them, but we know what we did wrong. We misfit some gaps, and we’re trying to work on that this week."
- ESPN ranks all of the Big 12 quarterbacks and Davis Webb checks in at #3 and Baker Mayfield is at #6. I am sure this will end the discussion of who is better.
- The LAJ has a notebook of things including P Ryan Erxleben getting his job back. Also, Don has been on top of Bennett Ofor getting some snaps at defensive tackle and Micah Awe moved to the Raider outside spot when Terrance Bullitt was injured (any idea on the injury?) and since Austin Stewart was moved to strong safety.
