At this point, I'd say it's highly unlikely that TT throws Brewer out there for his first real game action of the season in arguably the toughest game of the year. TT has gotten this far with a pair of freshmen. Also, as it stands right now, Brewer could probably get a med RS if he doesn't play much more before the end of the year.
Personally, at this point, I'm hoping we don't have to go to Brewer. I still like the kid plenty and think he may well be the best QB when healthy, but rather than wasting a year of eligibility on a few games, I'd like to see him sit the rest of the year, apply for the med RS for '13, and have a legit 3-way competition with Webb/Mayfield for the starting gig in '14.
That being said, Kliff obviously has the stones to play any of them, and thus far, the results have been hard to argue. Who knows, maybe Brewer trots out there on Saturday and starts for us the rest of the year. It's also worth mentioning that every time they've shown the sideline, all the QBs have been joking and laughing with each other. I don't sense an ounce of disgruntlement from any of them, as I firmly believe they all want to do whatever it takes to help the team and fully trust Kliff as we do to put the best guy out there. I also believe all three are capable of winning any game left on the schedule. It's Kliff's call, he'll make it, and we'll support it.
