Red Raider's match last year's win total; beat TCU.

Texas Tech has already matched the win total from last years as they marched into Fort Worth and beat the Horned Frogs. This is a quality, and impressive win. This is something Tech has not been able to do in a long time, and that is go on the road and win.

Things looked very good as the Red Raiders were sharp all night long. Texas Tech shot 47% and TCU shot 35%. The leading scorer for Texas Tech was J. Crockett with 13 points and the leading scorer for TCU was D. Abron with 16 points.

This was a very impressive win especially noting that this was the first road game of the year for TTU, and to come away with a win is very impressive. TCU dropped to 9-5 (0-1) after tonight's game.

Texas Tech has matched last year's total and conference win total after the win tonight. Last year Tech was 8-23 and only won a game in conference. This year Tech is already 8-4 (1-0) which is a lot better of a start.

Looking ahead Tech will go back home to play Baylor on national television. The channel is ESPN2/WATCHESPN. Make sure you tune in at 6:00 on Tuesday and hopefully the Red Raiders can pull off the upset. Until then, Guns Up!
