I would highly suggest you turn on Fox Southwest right now, they're showing the 1A D2 championship in which Dee Paul is the QB, Safety and Returner for his team. This kid is truly ridiculous, broke a 57 yard run for touchdown in the second play of their first drive, shortly after playing an entire defensive series. Following their touchdown score, on the opposite team (Our very own Reginald Davis' Tenaha) kick return, their guy almost runs it all the way back until who? Dee Paul makes the score saving tackle.
Granted you can't say much for the competition, but this kid has got a motor that I haven't seen in quite a while. Even as a quarterback this kid throws a capable spiral, but I'm greatly looking forward to seeing what he's going to be able to do for our secondary.
Ideally he would need to redshirt, he's tiny as I'm looking at him right now, but give him a year to get adjusted as a scout team redshirter, put on another 15-20 lbs and he could be a capable corner. Add some more weight and he might slide to safety.
Damn good time to be a Red Raider guys, I hope you know this
