One of the most overrated ideas we've heard come out of this defense for the past 3-5 years is "simple schemes equals quick feet and speed". That's all well and good but those simple schemes have given up a ton of yards and a ton of points. College qb's are incredible at reading defenses and using audibles, if they have no idea what they are seeing on defense they have nothing to audible too... This is beautiful music boys!!

You never hear "simple schemes" from elite defenses.
