Time is quickly running out for us to put together a defensive coordinator and still be able to bring in any recruits other than receivers (in fact just yesterday we lost CB Maurice Chandler) We need someone who these commits or prospects can talk to, the next 3 and a half weeks is going to see a flurry of action across the FBS with recruits coming and going at the last second and if we don't have a coach within the next few days to put a face to our defense we are going to be hurting pretty bad.

Therefore I am throwing my name out there to be Interim Head-Co-defensive Coordinator. I know a great deal about football and am extremely passionate about the game and about Texas Tech and the success we can have here at this great institution. What's more I've got the youth on my side to be able to reach out and really sell this great program we have out here in beautiful West Texas, truly God's country if there ever was one.
