Offense:

The first Tech offensive TD of 2012 season is scored by Omar Ontiveros the FB.

Jace Amoro leads all receivers in yards gained thru the first three games. Averaging 150 plus RAC/YAC

James Polk starts @ Guard to begin the season.

Michael Brewer tosses 7 and scores 4 times with his legs in 4th quarter mop up duty. So he appears in 8 Tech winning efforts after the game has been decided.

Defense:

Corn Dog (Cornelius Douglas) gets/nets 5 x interceptions going into game 5 versus the Sooners.

Both Dennel Wesley and Dartwan Bush tally 8 sacks each thru game 7.

LB Terrence Bullitt leads all tacklers with 12.5 tackles per game & CB Eugene Neboh gets 11 PBU.

Special teams:

Javares McCroy scores 6 times in 2012 - all on kick returns.

Branden Jackson blocks 1 kick per game straight thru game 6.

Special team head hunter/tackler/ punt & kick coverage gunner Tyson Williams is the Big 12 newcomer of the year. Based on his 20 plus solo tackles on punts and or kick offs.

Place kicker Ryan Bustin wins three games in November with his leg.
