This could be interesting. Even though Bailey has spent most of his academic life over the last 30 years in Texas, and is married to a Tech alum, he is from Alabama and has B.A. and M.A. Degrees from the U of Alabama. Initial reports sound like 'Bama really is interested in him; it remains to be seen if he is really intent on returning "home,"or if this is a possible contract ploy on his part to up his ante at Tech.
