I was fortunate to spend some time with my parents this holiday weekend and we were talking about the passing of Andy Griffith and what a great show The Andy Griffith Show was....my dad pointed out that Andy got his start as a 'stand-up' comedian back in the 50's. Enjoy this classic routine from 1953, "What it was, was Football"...
