ODDS AND ENDS | I've got some other posts going up later today. I'm branching out today and taking a look at some high school quarterbacks.

TEXAS TECH SOFTBALL | Double yikes. Texas A&M took both games, and even run-ruled the second game yesterday, losing 6-9 in the first game (official site) and 0-9 in the second game (official site). LAJ's David Just and DT's Matt Villanueva recap the game.

Yesterday, the softball team made it into the top 25, at 24, but may not stay there that long if they don't get a few wins this weekend.

TEXAS TECH BASEBALL | Yikes. Texas Tech had their rears handed to them last night, 10-3, by New Mexico (official site) and have an opportunity to get a game back at 1:00 pm. LAJ's George Watson and DT's Brett Winegarner recap the game.

Yesterday the official site had an excellent Q&A with Texas Tech associate head coach Tim Tadlock. Definitely worth your time. Tadlock is supposed to be one of the best in the country.
