Does anyone know if this guy was given his medical redshirt? Would be very happy to see him get a full 4 years with a (hopefully) completely competent defensive staff.

As a side note (and to fulfill the 75 word requirement) WHO is the most exciting offensive and defensive player you're looking forward to seeing next year, who was redshirted this year?

Offensive pick, Dominique Wheeler, could pose a very Eric Ward type threat and we've got him for many years to come. Could become a formidable with a Brewer-led offense.

Defensive pick, La'Darius Newbold, for obvious reasons, we desperately need help in the secondary, be it technique or talent, something has got to improve for Kliff to take us to the mountain top.

Defensive honorable mention, Ryan Flannigan. Our LBs consistently underperform, look for this guy to make the two deep early due to his speed, athleticism and hopefully smarts.
