Beckie named to the Soccer Freshmen Team of the Year
Congratulations to Janine Beckie for earning a spot on the Top Drawer Soccer Freshmen Team of the Year.
She earned it and I look forward to seeing her play the next few years and possible assisting the Red Raiders in getting a Big12 Conference championship and maybe even a NC.
Some of the highlights this season:
Scored first goal of the 2012 season
Scored 3 goals at a tournament at Cal State Fullerton and earned Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honors
Scored both goals in the shut-out of OSU
Beckie had 122 shots and 14 goals for the season
