The Red Raiders beat North Texas on Saturday night in the NCAA College Cup tournament.
Texas Tech shut out the Mean Green 2-0 in the match. Senior Dawn Ward both goals in the 2nd half of play.
"I felt like we established our possession game early and that was what really set the tone," sixth-year head coach Tom Stone said. "We knew we were up against a challenge and I was excited for our girls to come to play."
