Before the 2012 season started, many believed Texas Tech coach Tommy Tuberville was on the hot seat heading into his third season in Lubbock. But after four games, Tuberville's job looks plenty safe. Much could change with a tough stretch to come, but for now, fans of the Red Raiders should have little to complain about with their team 4-0 overall and 1-0 in the Big 12 and inside the nation's Top 25 -- at least in the USA Today coaches poll, where Texas Tech is No. 24. Tuberville and company have an offense that can compete in the Big 12. Led by QB Seth Doege and WR Eric Ward, the Red Raiders are 11th nationally in scoring (43.8 points per game) and seventh in passing yards per game (358.8).
