Yahoo is carrying a good story of Wes, though it is nothing we here on DTN did not already know. I think it is kind of funny how the media finally "gets it" about some things. Like many of you, I have been impressed with Wes's abilities since he first arrived at Texas Tech with little to no fanfare. Over the years he has developed a work ethic second to none. I wonder just how good some other "physically better" athletes would perform if they adopted Wes's routines. Since his injury a couple of years ago, he has developed his workout acumen to where it is probably the most invloved of any, anywhere. Creds to Yahoo for the story. Big creds to Wes for being "The Man!" Enen the Pats owner thinks so: On Friday, Patriots owner Robert Kraft made it clear that Welker is a priority. "I think Wes wants to be here and we want him here," Kraft said. "Hopefully when the season ends, both sides will be wise enough to consummate something. He’s pretty special. Any time there is a player on this team I can look eye-to-eye and be at the same level, he’s an important guy."
