I know everyone is tired of hearing about Texas A&M leaving the Big 12. Everyone has their opinions and I have read and listened to all points of views. I personally will miss the Aggies if they leave. I remember the old A&M when they would dominate us and other teams in the SWC. Players like Bucky Richardson, Quentin Coryatt, and Greg Hill. R.C. Slocum was a great coach that would always field a great team. Texas Tech made great strides to be on par with the aggies throughout the last decade and a half. Kyle Field is a monster in itself. Coach Leach has said numerous times that the atmosphere at College Station is electrifying. Oh, and lets not forget the fans and alumni. If there is one thing I will say about Aggies, it's that they support their team whether they win or lose.
It saddens me knowing that the Red Raiders will most likely not be playing the Aggies of Texas A&M. Gone are going to be the debates with my aggie coworkers. Now, I fear that Texas A&M is going to join the SEC and become what Iowa St. is to the Big 12. Maybe Iowa St. is a bad example considering the Cyclones kicked our asses last year but you know what I mean. I don't think anyone really wins when A&M leaves.
Before all the rhetoric starts on this thread, ask yourself, If it was Texas Tech and not A&M getting the winks from the SEC and If it was the Red Raiders that could give UT the bird and say F-YOU and your network!!!! Would you, as Red Raiders, support a move to the SEC? Would it be good for the team and the university?
