Totally against their culture, but they are trying it out.
How about this? They have an interest in Friday night lights, too. West Texas Football! - who would have guessed that?

I have no idea weather it is subtitled and distributed around China, or what (Although I think they could probably get it if they wanted to.) Who knew they would care?
In total, I am not sure how I feel about this, and have mixed feelings- but it is interesting to think about. Perhaps they admire Texas?
As much as I always hope the Europeans would play REAL football, it is only growing modestly over there.
Perhaps football could be yet another Chinese boom? Would that be a good thing? Do you see any negatives?
They have recently come to favor our state tree - the pecan, and are buying lots of pecans (nuts) - and prices on pecans are way up because of the demand lately.
I think this is thought provoking enough to share here as kind of an OT thing- what do you think about all this?
