I called with a concern over a specific issue. I wasn't really expecting much, but have been very impressed with Hocutt so far in terms of his philosophy, vision, etc., so figured I would give it a shot.
Wanted to pass along an excellent experience I had with Kirby Hocutt's office recently...
After leaving a message, his Chief of Staff/asst AD Craig Wells called me back first thing the next morning. We visited and he said he would see what he could do. He called me at least three times over the past five days working to find a solution, and apologizing for the lack of customer service. Things worked out on a positive note on both ends today.
The point is - everyone in Hocutt's office, and especially Craig, treated me like I was a member of the Red Raider Club, top donor, etc. Umm...I'm not. Not even close. He was genuinely interested in addressing my concerns and said customer satisfaction is a priority for them. He spent a fair amount of his time and went way out of his way to help me - one regular person.
These folks are not just talking the talk. They are walking the walk. Count me in.
