I am the minority

I am the minority because.

I am afraid of what DTN is becoming. I have this concern that this blog is becoming an anti-tech football and a pro Washington St. football blog. This has nothing to do with the headlines. On the surface it looks like an informative Texas Tech athletic site. It is when you get into the deep of things that you will find the true identity of this blog. I used to feel comfortable posting comments here and building a discussion, but lately it seems that the only ideas that are accepted are anti-tuberville and anti-tech admin and pro-leach. This is what I do not understand. I love my school. I did not go there because of their football program. I went there because I wanted to be a red raider. I give to Tech (not a lot). I would give to Tech even the football program went 0-12 (I may not buy season tickets). I feel like I am in the minority. I feel like the people on this blog have a larger alliance to man who they have never had a relationship with. Their alliance lies with a man who loves pirates, and looked for a way out. My alliance remains to my school. This does not mean I want Leach to do poorly at WSU. I want him to do well, but if WSU is playing Tech in anything then I am putting my guns up. Texas Tech is much more than football. It is the school itself. It is memorial circle and the victory bells. It is the masked rider and raider red. Texas Tech is the school that produces great people. It is the feeling you get when you see red and black, and when you hear the matador song you get your guns up. It is driving down the road seeing a double T and smiling. Texas Tech is not Mike Leach. It is not anger towards an administration that in the grand scope of things do not matter. Agree with me or disagree with me (I am expecting the latter.) I feel like I am the minority
