Tubberville showed no confidence is his team by kicking a field goal when Tech was down by 15. It was a gutless, mindlessly weak SEC decision. When Tech fields an SEC defense then you can make conservative calls like this work. I am not saying Tech would have won, or even that we would have picked up that 4th down. BUT, I am saying, I cannot picture myself saying that we should have taken the field goal if we had no made the 4th down conversion. Next time Coach, leave it all out there instead of taking the squeamish way out.
