First I would like to discuss the decision making from the K state game, 2 player revelations and then discuss Tuberville, his tendencies and why he is safe here no matter what until 2013 (while we agonize over and the nation simply forgets TTU football). 

Kstate game decision making:

- 2nd and 22nd in the second half- run the football?  really?

- 4th down & 3 to go, inside the 10 late in the 4th quarter down 2 possessions- field goal? really? after the last two have been blocked?  you dont think we can go 3 yards?  really?  if we cant go 3 yards, should we even deserve to win?

-we get onside kick but if we score a touchdown without blowing a timeout, we dont have to onside and we can give the defense momentum to go out and make a stop and still save clock.. then let carona kick a field goal to tie if you must...scratch that... can the punter kick?

Kstate game revelations:

-Torres is a beast ... dude is a beast... sorry if i am late on this but... hes beast

- Doege is not all that he's been cracked up to be... Doege<Sticks (remember 2009)

Tubs is an old old school football mind.. not a particularly great one but old school nonetheless.  He is a great recruiter and should run for office one day. Nothing ever sticks to him..he blames all on "players youth" and/or "opponents strength". He coaches as if he has a stellar SEC defense and a weak SEC offense (with a strong running back and an all star kicker) regardless of whatever he really has.  Now, he is betting on recruiting this strong SEC type defense and marginal SEC offense (strong running game, marginal pass game) for the 2013 or 2014 year.  2013? 2014?  he is thinking that far ahead? Sounds crazy you say?  not really.  He knows that the admin is giving him 3 to 4 years to get "his team" on the field.  Frankly if I am him, I would give 2 squirts if we won or lost in the first two seasons as this is the team that I "inherited". And as we can see, he really can give 2 squirts now that we have lost the last two.   The pressure will really  be on in 2013/2014.  until then.. every win we get will be gratis, an extra benefit in his eyes. That is why last season, this season and most likely next season will be hard to watch..  Now, I am not calling for tub's head because i know the admin wont give it to us until 2013 at the earliest, no matter what happens on the field... The only upside to the situation.. He either puts up or gets fired in 2013.  The frustrating thing is even if he recruits a talented football team, he will still coach with the "take the points first" mentality on 4th down along with other old school SEC quirks. the only way we are happy is If he gives us a big 12 championship (or conference USA by that time) in 2013 or 2014... otherwise he is fired and the program will be in the ground... its going to be all or nothing with this dude... Guess what happens if he does win that conference championship?  He interviews for the biggest opening he can get and leaves town ASAP! we are in a bad spot no matter how you slice it.
