An open letter to the DTN community,
I know the DTN blogging community is disappointed with tonight's loss but let me tell you that no one is more disappointed than me.
We have to remember that we hired a great coach from a superior conference who preaches about winning championships and a balanced offense .... plus he is a good ole boy like me, so consequently he is easy to manage.
Let me tell you from personal experience this is much better than a coach who doesn't talk championships, produces crazy offensive numbers and points, wins more than any coach in our history with leftover talent, attains a #2 ranking, but sues his employer because his due process rights were violated. What a headache that guy was! And get this, he wants to be paid for work completed during the 2009 season. The gall!
I know our new coach has a worse record against UT (0-1) than our old coach (3-7), but let your heart not be troubled, because he talks about winning championships and has balanced out the offense. I am convinced that this is the magic bullet that we have been missing. This is going to be great guys. Trust me ... after all I am the Chancellor.
Keep up the lively talk here. By the way, who is Nancy James?
A Chancellor working hard for Tier 1 status and you!
Kent Hance
