The week that we have all dreaded started Sunday. You know the week.  It's the week that leads up to the big game.  There is nothing more exciting.  The coordination of the tailgate party; the purchasing of your favorite jersey number; the long drive up to watch your favorite team; the beer; the BBQ. And yes, the dreaded "WalMart" fan!!

Now I recognize that every school has those fans.  Tech definitely has them, but they are really in Lubbock proper.  Unfortunately, the shorthorns have them EVERYWHERE!!  Most bleed orange despite no affiliation with the school other than the blue light special on t-shirts. They talk about how their team is #1, they are going to win the National Championship, our team sux, their kids will be going to Texas, blah, blah, blah!! 

Ask them...what school did you go to again?  Did you get that $40k piece of paper that hangs on most office walls? They change the subject back to how our team sucks.  So, I give you the viral smack talk that is rapidly growing!  Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!
