All credit to the Captain! I have been over-analyzing my own feelings about this new season. Die hard Leach supporter, but I saw it coming for a year. I just want Mike to be immortalized at Tech. He DESERVES it!!! No argument needs to be written out here. He made us relevant, period. So my grief, over our lost captain made me mad at Tubs for no real reason, probably would have been happier with a June Jones or Sumlin, or Bryles hire just to keep clinging to my beloved "Air Raid". As soon as I heard "run" I figured Techs time was over. And the last thing I wanted to see was that prairie dog BS you see the Copycats doin. But Im coming around....... Tubs is loading up recruits and taking every advantage of what Leach left behind. I am really getting some confidence that we are going to do a lot of winning this season. But my point relates to what I saw in Auburn, AL. Tubs was to Auburn what Leach is to Tech. But try and find even a picture of him in their trophy hall. Only thing I saw was his name on the team plaque and a digitally distorted image on a blown up mural of the undefeated team photo. Do ya'll think Tech could possibly do the same to Leach and somehow wipe his name from all the bowl wins, rivalry wins, combacks, records, ....COACH OF THE YEAR!?! We must insist that Leach is remembered this season. and for posterity. RIP Im remembering the Alamo bowl and welcoming a new era at a higher lever thanks to Leach. Now Tubby Tech lets win some championships, and dont take any "official" crap from anyone when we play the Bonghorns. Leach never let them get away with it, keep your Guns Up! Whew, I feel better.
