Ok, so before I continue, this is all assumption from a portmanteau of information collected from free headlines and pictures, all information clearly available to the general public. I have no subscriptions to any of those sites anyway, so its not even possible for me to have inside information.
The weakside DE/OLB is Curt Maggitt, 4 star Scout, 4 Star Rivals, ESPN 4 Star, 81, #59 overall (#3 OLB in the country to ESPN). This is how I came to this well founded conclusion.
I had noticed a headline on Rivals that a Top Linebacker had Tech listed as his number 1 choice. Recently that was updated to Top FL Linebacker. At this point I scurried on over to Scouts, and checked the prospects that had scholarship offers and were considering Tech. There was only one 4 star/high 3 star OLB or MLB from Florida that was currently uncommitted. This was moderately convincing. But I then mosied back on over to Rivals again, and noticed the picture by the article telling of the LB who listed Tech as number 1, was indeed the same picture as Curt Maggitt. So that is 100% what I am basing this information off of, but I have found that using this similar analysis in the past, has led to accurate results every time (notice, I've only done that 3-4 times).
On another note, the draw of Tuberville and probably immediate playing time in the 3-4 defense, which demands talented, fast, and smart linebackers, this would be a huge pick up! I thought I would share with everybody my cheap, and slightly reaching "journalistic" exposition into the recruiting efforts of Tech.
