How about a break from realignment chatter, and talk about how awesome Tech is?
Basically, Tech's Biochemistry/Chemistry department chair, along with an assistant professor at Baylor (meaning our guy is the lead on the research) have developed a patent that you can add into existing antibiotics that make the usable against diseases currently resistant to that antibiotic, which in case you're wondering, is freakin' huge. It is entering into Pre-Clinical trials shortly, and if it goes well, within 2 years Tech will be making some big, important headlines about this.
