Ready or Not: This is it. Win or stay home, and it seems completely unfair for this baseball team, that was picked near the bottom of the Big 12 in the preseason, has climbed to 4th in the Big 12 (2nd through 6th is somewhat of a cluster) and now must win as many games as possible to give themselves a chance to make the NCAA regional tournament. LAJ's George Watson writes about how the team appears to be focused at the task at hand. Here's DH Scott LeJeune:
"I think we all realize this is a real fighting time," designated hitter Scott LeJeune said. "We’ve got to show up at Nebraska and take care of our business, and everything else will work out. We have a little sense of urgency. We have to play with what we have. If Chad’s not there then we have to deal with a big part of our team being gone. If he’s not there we’ll go with the arms we have and everything will be fine."
