So I have no links to this because I was working hard in my (home) office and had ESPN on in the background. It is college football/gameday. The subject of Mike Leach and Tommy Tubberville and how Tech will look next year after the transition. That was the tease before a commercial break.
Well, like most teases....it really didn't have much substance (like much of ESPN). Ed Cunningham stated that he thinks that Tommy Tuberville has been a calming influence in Lubbock, because he is pretty no-nonsense. I don't think I can argue that, but that was pretty much the entire piece. No insight, no hot sports opinions and no predictions. When you have a monopoly on anything, you get very lazy and ESPN is the poster child for this.
The best part of this was that John Saunders before the piece said very clumsily that Craig (ATM) James would not comment on the piece because he was 'involved'. Has there ever been a bigger empty suit in the history of History? I answer my own headline by saying he is worse than an empty suit...he has tried to bring down two programs and he has taught his son to be self serving. Serenity now.
