Wes Welker is out

Welker may miss the entire 2010 season. According to Scout Wes Welker will be having his rotator cuff repaired. This along with his knee surgery and required recovery period for both will mean that he will be out for 8 to 10 months, missing this year entirely. This has got to be a blow to Wes as he had established himself as THE go-to guy for New England's Brady. His back-up, however, has been able to put on a pretty close imitation of Welker, so Wes may not be missed as much as he would have expected. I guess all of those hard hits he took going over the middle these last few years just took its toll on him. I expect him to be back, but how much will he be able to do, and will he be as good at it as he once was?
