I thought I would share a glimpse into the future. Below is a lead I pulled out of the Austin Statesman about a battle Brewing (no pun intended) in San Antonio Friday night. Here is the link if you would like to read more http://www.statesman.com/sports/highschool/lake-travis-kerrville-tivy-matchups-1053194.html
Lake Travis (9-2) vs. Kerrville Tivy (10-1) 7:30 p.m. Friday, Heroes Stadium in San Antonio
Quarterback: Michael Brewer, a Texas Tech recruit, has passed for 1,850 yards for Lake Travis this season, but his legs gained him more yards (123) than his arm did (34) against McCallum last week. Tivy's Johnny Manziel, a Texas A&M commitment, has accounted for 4,800 yards of offense this season, along with 42 touchdowns passing and another 28 rushing. EDGE: Kerrville Tivy
I am going to be at the game. If anyone else is going to go, let me know and we can all meet before the game and make sure we are game ready.
Additionally, our highly recruied TE Amaro was named the Express News Player of the Week in week10. Here is the link 10.http://www.mysanantonio.com/sports/high_school_football/
Week 10 winner: MacArthur TE Jace Amaro’s hurdle and 73-yard TD. Vote on Week 11 Play of the Week through Tuesday, Nov. 23
Here is another story on Jace that you might like to read about how he is the biggest weaopn for 10-1 MacArthur http://www.mysanantonio.com/sports/high_school_football/macs_biggest_weapon_of_all_107356873.html
I will also be at this game on Saturday in the Alamodome at noon. Again, if anyone wants to meet before the game to get game ready, just let me know.
Future looks bright.
