This is a must read .... it is written by someone outside of the whole saga and really nails it. He contends that if Leach is lying, he is done as a college football coach and rightfully so. If he is able to verify his comments, James ought to be run out of town. With Leach's legal training (one of the first rules you learn in law is if you don't have the evidence, don't make assertions that will come back to bite you. When an attorney ask a question in a trial or the discovery phase of the trial, 99% of the time they already know the answer and have the evidence to back it up), I would be shocked if Leach doesn't have the evidence in hand to prove his assertions. He has too much riding on it.
Hopefully, the national media will pick this post up along with the NYT article and begin to apply pressure to ESPN. Would love your comments.
