As far as I remember the Mark Mangino occurrence was the first, and it set off a wildfire across the nation where student athletes cry wolf every time a coach slaps them on the butt. I feel the Mangino case was what started this off, but could you even imagine if the players had this mindset when Bobby Knight was in his fiery prime?  I was just wondering if you guys could give a little input on this, since I'm not quite the Stump the Scwaub mind that some on this blog are.
