Synopsis of the Game: I think this is a bigger defensive battle than people expect. The Texas Tech defense is better than the Houston defense, while the Texas Tech offense, at least right now, is slightly behind the Houston offense. The Texas Tech defense should be the difference in this game. The return of defensive end depth helps the defense stay fresh in the 2nd half and the offense does enough to get a close victory on the road. Baron Batch will rebound after last week's game to finally lead the team to some solid rushing yards.
