I am curious as to how all you Tech fans would grade Gerald Myers. Do you think he has done a good job as athletic director for Tech? Has he done a poor job? Do you think it is time for him to be replaced?

Looking at your sports teams, football is obviously a big feather in his cap. Men's basketball, not so much. Getting Bob Knight was a coup for Tech; hiring his son doesn't appear to have been a great move, but it is still too early to tell. Women's basketball? I don;' know. How much of your struggles there are due to Marcia Sharp retiring and the new coach not getting the job done versus vast improvements in the programs at A&M, texas, and Baylor? Baseball, I think Spencer was a good hire. He had a rough first season, but I think y'all will be really happy with the results he produces in the next few years.

I do think Myers screwed up by not getting you a decent opponent for a yearly neutral site game in the Metroplex. Baylor? Really?
