Leach , Meyers , Agents , etc. have now painted themselves into a corner ! This started when Meyers last spring refused to negotiate on a new contract and said we understand if you leave for more money ( that's a great tactic even if you think it why would you say it ? ) , nice touch !! Then Leach has a big year that craps out on him at the end before he can collect a payday , i.e. OU , Baylor , and the Cotton Bowl , all the Coaching vacancies get filled and he has no leverage ! Both parties have blown their heads up with too much of their own BS . Leach and his agents who think they are UAW lawyers negotiating with the GM , ( plus I get the feeling Leach loves playing the innocent bystander while using his agents to roast Meyers and pay him back for his perceived lack of respect ) and then Meyers who thinks Leach should kiss his ass for giving him a Head Coaching job, privately hates Leach cause he is thinks The Strip should be inside the Lubbock City limits , and that Tech is a top tier  program  and anyone would die to coach there ! I have 2 words on the whole mess one goes , they both  go , Gerald Meyers and Leach bye bye flush em both get Jerry Gray , Romeo Crenel , etc.  !!!  Besides we are all waiting on the son of Leach anyway Kliff Kingsberry he is as smart , or smarter than Leach and knows the offense just as well , let him finish his training at U of H and come home !
