Death Penalty

We might as well just join SMU.  As much as I try to shed some light on this I just can't see it.  Our #24 recruiting class will go away and our air raid offense that Leach brought to Tech is gone.  Sure maybe a new coach will come along and get us excited for the off-season but it's just going really hard to see us doing any better than we did under Mike Leach.   I'm a pessimist by nature so I don't mean to sound so negative.  This day really sucks and I can hardly even talk to friends on the phone offering opinions and support.  What really happened here?  Does this really have anything to do with the James' family?  Do we have a bunch of simple minded country bumpkins running our administration?  I was a huge Leach supporter and man I know he loved Texas Tech football.  I really think after the contracts were inked last year Leach was a lifer and felt great about his future at Tech.  On the other end I think the admin. had other plans.  I just can't believe this happened after years of success here and I wish Mike Leach the absolute best.   In the end I hope we can survive this as a football program but I have some serious doubt.  We don't need a rebuilding decade.
